ACT Test Enhancements
The ACT Test is Evolving
Beginning with the September 2025 test, all students will receive the new ACT Composite Score, calculated based on their performance on the English, math, and reading sections. Students who opt to take the science section also will get a college-reportable score for that section and an overall STEM score.
And that’s not all. ACT soon will introduce additional enhancements for international test takers, including fewer questions and improved test structures to help students demonstrate what they have learned.
